HPS - What do we do?
The HPS [formerly known as Healing Prayer School] is a UK ministry that is Christ-centred, Bible-believing and Holy Spirit led. HPS has ministered in the UK, Europe and the USA. It is led by Lin Button.
The ministry of the HPS is carried out through events either in-person or online, which include worship, teaching and healing prayer. These events offer a safe space where men and women can connect with God and find hope. Focusing on different themes for each event, Lin and the team look to bring freedom from past hurts, understanding of how our wounds can affect us and lead us to Jesus for healing and restoration. As Jesus heals us, we experience increased freedom from the lies we have believed and discover our true identity in Christ. With this increased security, attachment and belonging, we can begin to become all that God intends us to be.
The five books that Lin has written, available for purchase on this website, encapsulate her teaching and her extensive experience. Each chapter contains healing prayers that can be used personally. Audio and video resources are also available.
Lin welcomes invitations from churches to hold HPS events from one to five days in length. She also loves to train leaders and prayer ministry teams. If you would like to explore inviting Lin to hold an event or training session at your church, please click here.
About Lin Button
I have been involved in healing prayer since 1979. Having been on team with Frances MacNutt, John Wimber and Leanne Payne, I began to train my own team in the UK which became formalised as the 'Healing Prayer School' (now known as HPS) in the 1990s.
I have worshipped at All Saints Woodford Wells church since 1975 and have been a member of the Senior Staff team for well over twenty years.
I continue to have a one-to-one healing prayer ministry, as well as being a Chaplain for Westminster Theology Centre. I am a regular speaker on Premier Christian Radio.
As a daughter of the King of Kings, my greatest joy and privilege is to be part of Jesus' manifesto to bring sight to the blind, set the captives free and heal the broken-hearted.
